Have Questions?

With so many variables going into any project, there are usually similar questions that arise on most projects we undertake.  Hopefully this can shed some light and help clarify the overall process.

01

I am unfamiliar with the construction process, how does this work?

Please call or email to discuss what you have in mind.  An initial consultation at your home will be scheduled to further discuss the overall project scope and design ideas.  We will generate a proposal and design.  After review and acceptance, the project contract will be drafted and the ball gets rolling.  At this point we will fine tune any finishes, obtain necessary construction documents or permits, and begin ordering initial materials.  Construction will commence once everything is in order and continue until your project is complete.  A final quality walk-through is performed at the end of each job and culminates the journey.

I want to renovate but I'm not sure about the details.

This is a very common situation.  Formulate an overall theme or vision of what you would like done, but don't sweat the small details.  We have relationships with local interior designers that can help hone all the final finishes.

How soon can we get started?

Depending upon the overall scope of the job, fairly quick.  The factors that effect a start date include obtaining any necessary permits or plans, selection of finishes (cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, tile, etc.), and material delivery.  Starting off organized definitely helps ensure a smoother schedule.

What if I already have a plan?

By all means, we are here to help.  If you have already started researching your project or consulted with an architect/designer, we would love to share in this vision and make it come to life.

What about smaller jobs?

We understand that it can be difficult to find a contractor who will accept a smaller job.  We cater to the small jobs as well, such as interior/exterior door replacements, baseboard/crown molding installation, built-in cabinetry, etc.  Let Leadbetter Construction be an integral part in your home renovation.

After we start, who will I see on my job?

With a core group of carpenters and subcontractors, Leadbetter Construction maintains a daily presence on every job.  Your point-of-contact will be Ryan Leadbetter, who will manage and oversee every aspect of your project.

Will I have to move out while we are under construction?

Chances are you won't.  Dust containment and overall project cleanliness ranks at the top of our list for client priorities.  With proper project planning and foresight, we will try to minimize our impact into your living space as much as possible.  And as a service to our clients, we offer thorough construction cleaning at the end of every job.

Can you help my home's exterior?

Yes!  We cater to both the interior and exterior of your home.  We can provide a new look for your home, such as updating siding or stucco styles, changing paint colors, adding decorative window trim and architectual details.  We can add a pergola, built-in barbeque, handsome deck, or an outdoor kitchen.  With the great weather we always have, making usable space outdoors is always a great decision!
